City of DeLand Holiday Lighting contest
It's back! The City of DeLand is excited to begin accepting submissions for our annual holiday lighting contest!
The rules are simple: decorate your house for the holidays and share your address with us. We'll add you to our Google Map so people can take a look at your lights.
The winner of our contest, determined by our holiday committee, will receive a gift card to Ace Hardware of DeLand who is sponsoring this year's contest.
CONTEST RULES
By entering the contest, you are agreeing to allow your address to be on a map which will be shared on social media for the community to view Christmas lights in the area. Decorations must be visible from the roadway. Only properties within the city limits are eligible for judging. If your address does not reside within the city limits, your address will be posted on the public map for community viewing but will not be eligible for judging. The last day to submit an online entry form is Monday, December 19, 2025. Decorations for the contest must be available and lit up from time of submission through December 23 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. for judging. Contest winners will be notified after December 26.
