The Lake Helen City Commission is considering annexing approximately 47 acres at the Northwest Corner of I-4 and Orange Camp Road.  Along with the Annexation, the Lake Helen Commission is considering a change of land use to allow for restaurants, a gas station, a hotel and 13 car dealerships.  The DeLand City Commission has been reviewing the proposal and has held several public workshops.
