The courts are open for use
from daylight until 10:00 p.m. daily. There is no charge
for court use during the daylight hours until 5:00 p.m.
At this time, Monday through Friday, the following fee(s)
are in force.
City residents (proof required)
will be charged $1.00 per person per established time
period.
Non-city residents will be
charged $2.00 per person per established time period.
Residents and non-residents can be mixed in any time period
and change accordingly.
Annual cards can be purchased
by residents at a cost of $25 per person. Non-residents
may also purchase cards for $50 per person. The cards
are issued on a fiscal year basis October 1 through September
30. The court attendant can assist you with this purchase
or additional information.
To be assured
of maximum playing time for your dollar(s), you must be
present at the beginning of the established time period.
Reservations can be made on a first come basis by calling
the Tennis Center at 740-6858 between the hours of 8:30
am and 4:30 pm weekdays. In the event the courts are not
filled and you wish to play an additional period, you can
play for an additional fee.
From time to time,
the courts are used for tournament play, school activities
and league tennis matches. During these times public play
may be greatly restricted. We try to make these times known
so that you can plan to play around them.
On weekends and
daily prior to 5:00 pm, please keep your play to 1 hour
and 15 minutes maximum when others are waiting to play.

GVTL TEAM TENNIS
The City of DeLand participates in this local non-profit
tennis league operated and controlled by a board of directors
and governed by the playing rules of the USTA. It is opened
to players of all levels in both Volusia and Flagler counties.
It is a great way to improve your tennis game, meet new
people and have a good time. We invite you to join us for
the best in team tennis fun anywhere! New
