UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who participated in the City of DeLand community survey. The results from the survey have been attached at the top of the page. The reports include an executive summary of the results, breakouts of how people responded based on demographics and geographically. The technical appendices gives a more detailed look at how the survey was put together and how the City of DeLand ranked compared to other communities that participated in the survey.
The City of DeLand partnered with the National Research Center to administer a community-wide survey of DeLand residents to get their perspective on the quality of services offered by the city as well as their thoughts on the community as a whole.
In November, invitations were mailed out to a random scientific sampling of 1,500 households to participate in the survey. Residents who did not receive a survey were able to participate in an unscientific online survey for two weeks in January.
Overall, residents responded positively when asked about the quality of life and government services offered by the City of DeLand government.
