DeLand Bike Rally
Saturday, February 27, 2010
Due to the DeLand Bike Rally which be held in Downtown DeLand on Saturday February 27th, major road closures and disruptions to local traffic patterns will occur.
Woodland Blvd (Highway 17-92)
Woodland Blvd will be closed to cars and trucks beginning at 8:00 AM and will remain closed until approximately 10:00 PM between Howry Ave and Wisconsin Ave. Motorcycles will only be permitted access.
Indiana Ave
Indiana Ave will be completely closed to all motor vehicle traffic between Alabama Ave and Florida Ave. Various vendors and displays will be set up in this area.
New York Ave (State Road 44)
New York Ave will be closed beginning at 8:00 AM and will remain closed until approximately 10:00 PM between Alabama Ave and Florida Ave. Motorcycles only will be permitted access.
North Alabama Ave at New York Ave
North Alabama will be closed at New York Ave, North to Rich Ave due to Bike Rally Festivities to all motor vehicle traffic. Closure hours 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Rich Ave
Rich Ave will be closed between Alabama Ave to Florida Ave. Motorcycles only will be permitted. Closure hours 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Traffic Disruption:
Traffic around the downtown area will be heavy and disrupted due to the Bike rally. Expect some backups on Florida Ave, Howry Ave, Wisconsin Ave, and Amelia Ave.
