225 West New York – Putnam Hotel – Tony Hawes (56) called police to complain about staff towing his vehicle. He placed his hand on the officer’s chest and refused to move. He slapped the officer’s hand away and then resisted being taken into custody. A records check showed he had an open warrant in reference to criminal mischief. Arrested and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.
