Officers responded to Euclid and Amelia at the report of a suspicious incident. Five year old female found wandering near the intersection. Child stated that her mother abandoned her and she did not know her homes address. Extensive search conducted with negative results. Victim advocate and D.C.F. notified. About two hours later the mother was found. Mother reported that she was sleeping and the child wandered off. Child admitted that she made the story up. D.C.F. released the child back to the mother.
