600 block South Garfield – The victim signed a complaint affidavit against the father of her child, Barrington Byran, for allegedly kicking her in the face during a confrontation.  Byran had left the scene prior to officer’s arrival and could not be located.  Affidavit passed on to night shift.

Walmart – Lempira Norman was arrested for stealing over $1000.00 worth of D.V.D.’s from the store.  He dropped a bag that the items were concealed in and ran when the exit reader alarm sounded and a receipt was requested.  Norman was caught and detained by staff.  The D.V.D.’s were recovered by the store.  Norman was transported to V.C.B.J.

Value Pawn – The victim reported that while she was in the pawnshop, a female later identified as Yvonne Wolfe stole her cell phone off of the counter while it was momentarily left unattended.  The store manager played back the video and it showed Wolfe stealing the phone and leaving the store.  The manager personally knows Wolfe.  Wolfe will be charged via affidavit.
