695 South Boundary – A couple who possibly have a child in common were talking to each other in the roadway.  The female and child were inside the car.  The male allegedly reached into the vehicle through the back window and attempted to take the child out of a car seat against the mother’s protests.  The female then quickly drove off to keep the child from being taken.  The male alleged that he was still leaning through the vehicle window at the time the female took off and he fell to the ground and sustained minor scrapes.  The female was stopped by police and provided conflicting statements as to the extent that the male actually fell down as she accelerated.  No evidence to show intent on the part of the female to injure the male.  Neither party has custody paperwork for the child and the female and the child live out of town.  D.C.F. was notified.
