The City of DeLand has placed a high priority on proactive economic development and support for the business community.  Our participation in Open for Business is our pledge to promote the pro business environment fostered by MYREGION.ORG.  The City of DeLand understands that many municipalities have been hit hard by both the economic recession and the elimination of redevelopment agencies.  This pledge intends to reassure the development and business community and the citizens of DeLand that the City of DeLand is ready to assist in business attraction, expansion and retention efforts.

This regional certification program is designed to aid the business and development community by reducing procedural barriers, and to better facilitate the communication of standards and expectations.  It is our pledge to uphold our part as a proud recipient of the Open for Business Recognition to our community.
