Book Closing:

The voter registration books for the August 24, 2010 General Election will close July 26, 2010.  For more specific information regarding Voter Registration and Book Closing, please contact the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections (386)736-5930, or visit the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections website.   

Early Voting:

Early voting for the City’s August 24, 2010 General Election will be held August 9 – August 21, 2010.  For more specific information regarding Early Voting, or for a list of Early Voting sites, please contact the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections (386)736-5930, or visit the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections website.

Voter Registration:

Voter Registration Applications can be obtained from the Department of Elections, public libraries, drivers license bureaus, and other locations.  Applications can be returned by mail to the Volusia County Supervisory of Elections and must be postmarked 29 days prior to the date of the election in order to vote in that election.  They may also be hand-delivered to the Volusia County Elections Office or to any public library in Volusia County, any Supervisor of Elections office within the State of Florida, the Florida Division of Elections office, a driver’s license office, a voter registration agency, or an armed forces recruitment office at least 29 days to prior to the date of the election.  For more information and for special requirements for first time voters registering by mail, contact the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections office (736-5930), or visit the Volusia County Supervisor of Elections website [click here for link].   

Absentee Ballots:
